We are CIA/JSOC Realism Unit. The SOTF-181 (OMEGA), we are based on a CIA/JSOC task force, also known as hybrid or “OMEGA” teams, and we do not have any primary or dominant unit within the task force. Now, this community is unique in that it is not structured by any current SOF unit and is capable of performing operations that most communities stray from.
The operational elements of SOTF-181 consist of A Troop, B Troop, E Troop and G Troop. Each troop has its designated area of responsibility (AOR) and specializes in techniques conducive to that AOR.
A Troop (ASSAULT)
Serves as the primary assault force for SOTF-181
Reports to Program & Plans Officer
Mission priorities include; DA, HR, UW, CT, CP, CD (see Mission Types here)
Is divided into 3 Assault Teams: Alpha, Bravo, Charlie
Capable of providing security for B Troop forces
Initial Troop for incoming members
B Troop (RECON)
Serves as the primary reconnaissance force for SOTF-181
Reports to Targeting Officer
Mission priorities include; SR, IO, UW, CT, AFO (see Mission Types here)
Is divided into 3 Recon Teams: Alpha, Bravo, Charlie
Capable of providing overwatch for A Troop forces
Advanced Troop for members (Selection after 30 Days in A Troop)
E Troop (AVIATION)
Serves as the assault, attack, and fixed-wing aviation support for SOTF-181
Reports to Chief Operations Officer and Deputy Operations Officer
Is divided into 6 flights: 1 Lead Flight, 3 Rotary Flights, 2 Fixed-Wing Flights
Capable of piloting civilian and military aircraft (U.S. & Foreign)
Senior-most pilots are assigned to Lead Flight
